Maratha Book Account Security: Protecting Your ID and Payments
Account security comes down to four things: your password, your devices, who you talk to and how you pay. This guide covers each one, plus exactly what to do if something goes wrong.
Need help right now? Our support team replies 24x7 on WhatsApp.1. Your password
- Change the password you received to one only you know.
- Use a different password for each platform ID.
- Reset it straight away if anyone else might know it.
2. Your devices
- Lock your phone with a PIN, pattern or fingerprint.
- Keep your browser and WhatsApp updated.
- Log out after using shared devices.
- Never install APK files sent by strangers.
3. Who you talk to
- Only use the WhatsApp link on the official site.
- Ignore anyone who contacts you first.
- Be wary of urgency, “bonuses” and guaranteed results.
4. How you pay
- Ask for current payment details in the official chat every time.
- Pay only from an account in your own name.
- Never approve UPI “collect requests” you don’t recognise.
- Never share OTPs, UPI PINs or CVVs.
